These are Amazing!
Here's the story: I have a cousin who's both clumsy and destructive. When something of his is so visually and obviously damaged, you can't help but ask "What the hell happened to that?" but it would be in vain because the only answer you'll get is "I don't know" or "It just happened".
Anyway, back to the story. He has a PS4 (which by the way is messed up in a way I haven't seen or heard of before) and the controller that comes with it for only a year and he calls me to complain that his controller isn't working, doesn't charge unless a lot of pressure is put against the wire and USB port.
The first thought I had is that it may be loose inside, so I go over to his house to take a look. When I saw the controller, I was at a loss for words. The frame (the black plastic that you hold on to) is cracked, the USB port is bent and there is clay all around and a little of it in the USB port.
I clean up the clay from inside to find the middle part where the copper aligns is really bent and he wasn't kidding about the amount of pressure needed just to see it flash yellow that it's charging. I had to ask about the clay, he said it was the only thing he had to hold the wire in place, he didn't have tape, rubber bands, etc.
I helped him as best I could with what I had to work with and I was able to join the wire to the controller so it can charge and be used but with the port the way it was, I warned him that it should be used as a wired controller from now on until he can get a new one.
The next day he told me it got unplugged and he tried to put it back but couldn't get it. I told him to get another controller and to give me the busted one. When he gave it to me, the whole inside of the port had been gutted out. So I order this PS4 controller 12 pin logic board mini usb charge port part socket, it got to me the next day. I used crazy glue on the crack of the frame, replace the busted port for the new port and Voila, it works perfectly.
I told my cousin about the fix but he already bought a new one, told me to keep it, so I got a fully functional controller for only the cost of this port.
I highly recommend getting this if you have charging issues or any issues with the port, it's worth it!

Hours of Fun, Good Storyline and Awesome Boss Battles, need I say more?
This game is a lot of fun, especially if you do the extra challenges to earn powerful items that can futher enhance your gameplay. But mild spoilers aside, This game is the first that has a unique battle and tracking system that is now known and used in many games (i.e. Castlevania: Lords of Shadows), beautiful scenary as well as trecherous terrain, An Interesting Storyline and of course, All of the Colossi in the game. Some may be considered puzzling as well as challenging. You must find each colossus at it's resting place and once you find it you must figure out how to defeat it, for every colossus is entirely different which means there's a different method for each of them. This game is hours of fun, just remember this was originally a japanese game, it was brought over to the U.S. and translated but not dubbed only subtitled, so just a heads up, if your a person who doesn't like to read to know what's going on (i.e. Final Fantasy games, Imported movies, etc.) this game may not be for you, unless you don't care about the story and you just want to kill huge monsters then by all means go for it, you won't regret it.

Great if you're in a pinch
2 of 2 found this helpful I got this controller pretty quickly and it's pretty good. I'll list the negatives first: it does not have the Sony logo so it's not official, it does not have a built it battery pack so it's not technically wireless, I honestly don't know if it vibrates as I haven't really played anything that causes vibration consistently and it does not have a headset port/ext. port.
However, the positive things about it is that it works instantly as you plug it, it comes with it's own USB cable, it functions just like a normal controller including the touchpad and light effects, it's pretty lightweight and can be unplugged from the cable (meaning the wire is not built into the controller although it does not function while unplugged).
So all in all, it's great for the price and if you need a controller desperately as I did (my official controller's analog sticks kept getting worse and worse over time, not that they stick but they automatically drift and are difficult to maneuver). It's worth the price for functionality alone.
