Good cooler for small spaces
This is a small but effective and well designed cooler. Don't expect it to cool a large space. It's a good solution for cooling a small room, as long as the humidity is low (no higher than 40%).
I bought this for cooling my home office, and I keep it next to my desk. Before I bought the cooler the temperature in my office would peak near 90 F. With the cooler on low, the immediate vicinity of my desk is a comfortable 72-75F.
The cooler has a "swing" function that moves the air louvers from left to right, resulting in a barely perceptible change in the air flow. This is fairly useless, and no doubt bumped the price up by a few dollars. This feature should be improved, or failing that, removed in future models.
The provided remote does not come with the required CR2025 battery. In any event, a remote seems unnecessary for this type of appliance.
