Works but appalling user interface.

Luckily I bought this as a cheap item for very infrequent usage. Had it been for daily use I would have returned it. The reception it produces is OK although it can be a little slow changing channels and the EPG is not presented at all well. It has the infuriating habit of frequently popping up a window asking if I want to search. For what? I have no idea. Even worse is the difficulty of deleting unwanted channels. I have always believed the EPG is populated quicker if unnecessary channels are removed but trying to do so with this beast would probably take longer than my expected lifespan. I think it takes about ten key presses to delete a single channel during which time it adds insult to injury by asking if I want to search!! Definitely a poor example of how a set top box should function.

Well worth buying

Light in weight and fairly quiet. The thermostat operates very well over a narrow range - far more precise than other heaters I've had. Tis a pity the lead is not longer. Time will tell regarding it's durability.

Desirable gadget

For a modest price this is an extremely useful product. It is compact with a very legible display and is easy to set up. To be able to monitor the KW/hour usage and actual cost has proved quite enlightening (and occasionally surprising!). Recommended purchase.
