Buy it before they become unavailable.
A bit expensive but glad I found one! Cut off the original works perfect now I have a spare extra key for my 2012 Vaquero.

Nice piece.
Looks real cool, all the holes lined up perfectly. It garners up a lot of tasteful commentary out in the public eye around people they take notice.

Needs modding
Firstly it did not fit correctly to the header pipes, there was a steel welded loop bracket on the back that is supposed to bolt to the support bracket for the muffler. it was supplied with a bolt and nut for that, but the old muffler jut had a singular bolt that went to that hole on the muffler brace. I had to grind that loop off with my die grinder. The two bolt holes in the back of the unit fit perfectly to the support brac. The lange that shoves onto the male connecting pipe is too long and was bumping up against the weld on the stock male header connecter where he muffler hooks up. Again, I had to blaze off a quarter inch with the grinder so the length could b correct. The supplied muffler clamp could have been a real exhaust clamp, with the nut built in the back like a pro style exhaust clamp. The fact that it came with a separate nut made getting that nut in place to tighten up difficult. I finally did get it on my ride, looks good and performs well and sounds very nice. I just don't think that a muffler should cot 1,000 dollars and then need modification to work and fit. You can buy whole complete systems for much less. Two other companies that used to make a slip on for this bike, D&D, and Rush no longer build or sell their slip ons any more and they sold for hundreds less than the Cannon and when they were around, they fit right. As far as I now know, Rev is the only company that is currently building just the slip-on only for this bike because it is better to continue use of the stock header pipes, and keep the exup valve working, not removed, because the valve induces more torque and mid range power. This bike is best with just the use of a good slip-on exhaust.
