Great DVM for the price
Pros:
** Very good accuracy
** Good battery life
** Decent quality construction
** Great price/feature
Cons:
** Strange mechanical design forces you to move probe connection for volts/amps/etc.

Raspberry Pi 3 for 3D printer
My first exposure to this diminutive computer is very positive. I have run Raspbian and Ubuntu on this board. Both are good Linux platforms but Ubuntu is a tad slow given that it is not optimized for this Linux version.
Raspbian (Debian) might be the best choice for GP use.
Small form factor, low power consumption, built-in wireless + bluetooth, and good performance are the trademarks of the Raspberry Pi 3. Highly recommend for embedded or even some desktop applications.
