A great hard rubber tenor mouthpiece which rivals the capabilities of the best metal mouthpieces
For bright edgy playing, metal has been the usual choice for the tenor player. This hard rubber mouthpiece emulates the free-blowing and overtone-rich characteristics of metal mouthpieces, but with more control. Metal mouthpieces are great for high volume edgy playing with altissimo capability, when the sax needs to rise above the din of electric guitars in gigs that leave you with the sound of the amplifiers ringing in your ears. However, if you are trying to emulate this edgy feel in a reduced volume setting (bar or night club) without blowing away the dinner conversation, then the Jumbo Java is the choice for you. Its high baffle and chamber design enables this. The Jumbo Java is also great on the low end, with full and effortless bass notes. This is a great mouthpiece.
NEW ResMed AirTouch F20 Cushion size Small (S-1553/54/55/56

Sizing doesn't work for me, either too big or too small.
I originally tried Air Touch Medium but it was too big. So I tried Small, and it was too small. Although well made, the sizing of this particular item doesn't work for my face. I went back to Simplus, small, which works just fine but doesn't have the foam lined interface. Just as well. The Simplus silicone rubber is very durable and can hold up for more than a year with proper care and cleaning, whereas Air Touch foam eventually fails after a few months. I know some will be quite happy with Air Touch, but not me.

Tipton Snap Caps 22 Rimfire (Per 25) 486758

Better than Pachmayr, these are great snap caps
I should have bought these first rather than Pachmayr, which cracked and broke on first dry fire and extraction in my Ruger 22/45. A fragment fell into the trigger well and actually jammed the trigger. These Tiptons, unlike their Pachmayr counterparts, did not crack or break on the first firing, and actually feed properly from the magazine. You can trust these. Don't waste your money on Pachmayr.
