2 of 2 found this helpful I had this movie on VHS, but my whole collection was gone with the technology. I have been searching for this to appear on DVD for several years because it is that good of a movie. The characters are very life-like. R. Lee Ermey plays as good of a role as ever. His character reminded me of the Sgt Majors of the VietNam era. Totally gung ho Marine. Wings Hauser was your total Marine in the ranks. Overall, I would rate this a a Great Movie! Deserves all 5 stars.
