    Light conversation, some humor. Okay.
Nice, 2-set cassette dialogue with short musical scripts. Takes you through a day with a young working person (american) who meets a young woman (italian) and sprinkles english dialogue with italian. Reinforces grammatical rules & vocabulary which might not be covered in other more detailed learning programs. The musical parts are a bit repetitive, and it does not include any famous italian music of any sort. Song is only used for method to remember grammer & vocabulary. For a modestly priced learning tool - it is a change from typical audio courses.

Needs SDH or CC captioning in english.
Beware if you need captions - Captions only come in French and Spanish - not much good for the English hard-of-hearing viewers....
Man of Iron: Thomas Telford and the Building of Britain
    Sep 08, 2018
More than just a history of roads and bridges
More than just a history of Thomas Telford, civil engineer. The author Jillian Glover skillfully weaves the history of Great Britain in the 1700s to 1830s, helping the reader see just what it was like during that time. With an even hand, he show the impact of Telford's efforts on the infrastructure of roads, bridges and canals, and how it came to pass for England, Scotland & North Wales to become more connected for the modern world. Highly recommend it.
