Must-have for Whitesnake fans
This 30th anniversary box set is an exhaustive snapshot of a monster album. It includes a remastered album, poster, hardbound book, 3 additional cds of alternate mixes, additional tracks and live tracks from the subsequent tour. There's also an included DVD of a "making of" the 1987 album. The live cd is of little importance to me,as none of the band members, other than David Coverdale appear on the album(the exception other than Coverdale is Adrian Vandenberg, who played the solo on Here I Go Again. ) John Sykes ,Neil Murray and Ansley Dunbar along with Coverdale are the real heroes here, unleashing arguably one of the most searing albums of the 80s. Interpersonal conflict and mismanagement contributed to this spectacular lineup not touring behind this colossal tour de force of an album.

Well worth the money!
1 of 1 found this helpful If you are a collector of "dirt" pedals, this is almost a non-brainer. As a sub $40 pedal, the Ultimate Drive by Joyo delivers molten juicy British EL34 tone at a very wallet friendly price. The enclosure is metal, the controls are solid to the touch and function, the graphics are cool and the tone is hot! It can be used to simply goose the amp input on a slightly overdriven amp or used as the overdrive for a clean amp. The Ultimate Drive straddles the line between overdrive and full on distortion. It features three dial controls for Gain, Level(volume) and Tone, as well as a mini switch labeled High and Low. This switch selects the emphasis on the mids and is interactive with the Tone control to allow more personal customization of your tone. The Bypass(on/off) footswitch is very sturdy with a very robust "click" when depressed. The red LED is very visible and won't blind you. The Ultimate Drive has a DC9 Volt input located at the "north" side of the unit and is a great idea to use, because you will probably want to leave this one on ALL the time. All in all, an AWESOME additon to almost any pedalboard!

An absolute must-have for any John Sykes/Blue Murder fan
1 of 1 found this helpful This remaster of Blue Murder's debut (and best,IMHO)album is absolutely wonderfully done. Much of the muddy mid-range frequencies that plagued the initial release have been eliminated and clarified. The masterful bass wrangling of the Fretless Monster himself, Tony Franklin is quite a bit more present and focused, Carmine Appice's drumwork seems to cut through the overall mix with tighter definition and authority. Saving the best bits for last, John Sykes' BLISTERING guitar assault really got a make-over on this reissue. Subtle as a jackhammer on steroids, Sykes' steamroller tone and era-defining technique make this album absolutely explode. Rock Candy records did an amazing job in this remastered reissue and it is WELL worth the money in owning it. An added bonus in the CD booklet is an essay written by legendary rock journalist Malcolm Dome in 2013 that is the perfect topper to a very worthwhile and enjoyable addition to any hard rockin' head banging disciple of well crafted Rock.
