Solid value
I have used this model for 30 years at least. The improvements are real. The finish coat is better and the gear movement is better than ever. If you brush and clean the gear every day and lubricate the moving parts with spray vegetable oil regularly, this can opener is reliable and long lasting. The only thing that bothers me about this, is that the gear replacement requires a full packet of parts costing $30 from the parts distributor. I used to buy the gear for $10.

Zero Stars
Pros-None...Cons-Not even a 1 star product. Very flimsy, lid almost impossible to close, rarely dispensed a straw, after a couple days of use, the back cracked and broke in two place. VERY disappointed in this product
