I started collecting bottles in 1968 and have over 1600 bottles, most all are on display. What draws my interest is not only the shape, color and size but the uniqueness and history of the bottle. I like various types of antiques. Philippians 4:13

The Last Boy: Mickey Mantle and the End of America's Childhood
    Apr 19, 2016
    The truth isn't always nice.
The book is very well written, direct and to the point with just the right amount of background to fill in the blanks. Jane Leavy does and excellent job with a difficult task, getting Mickey to be open with his life and letting her print the truth. She had to be bold and write the good with the bad and most of the time he wasn't that good. It describes his ups and downs, the pain he endured, and the life lessons he should have taken to heart. The photo on the book cover shows the man he wanted to be, not the man he became. The book is a very good read, you will have a hard time putting it down. I would not suggest reading it if he is your hero because his star is tarnished, he was human just like the rest of us.
John Hiatt : Greatest Hits: the a&M Years 1987-1994 CD (1999)

    John Hiatt, songwriter and singer
Not only does this album show John Hiatt' singing and playing abilities but it really showcases his strong songwriting. You hear how "HE" envisioned how the song should be played compared to the other performers who have put their twist on the song. The soul of the song, the actual feelings John felt when writing the songs comes through stronger that the remakes. Not a bad song in the bunch, guess that's why they called it his greatest hit!
