Rockville RAM12BT Recharable Powered 600W PA 2 MICS
1 of 2 found this helpful This speaker is not for a professional DJ "MAIN" set up! It's an OK speaker for a small home party or a very small kids party.... Here is what the problem is with this speaker: The sliding telescoping transport bracket, used to roll the speaker around, breaks/snaps off from the speaker... Once it breaks you are out of luck. This broken sliding bracket then buzzes and makes all kinds of noise every time you use the speaker. It will continually vibrate when music plays. Rockville would be better off just taking off the telescoping handle because I own 5 of these and the telescoping handles broke on every one of my speakers. Other than this issue, the speaker is slightly above average for what it is. It's a low budget speaker for small gigs needing only background music. There is no bass worth talking about. It has great mid's and the highs are ok. If you are a professional DJ, I highly recommend this speaker (ONLY) for outside wedding ceremonies. It's cheap and gets the job done. You can play ceremony music via the Bluetooth system on this speaker with your iPhone or iPad... It's also good for cocktail hours. The batteries will last you about 3-hours at medium volume. The wireless mic needs to be placed stationary (on a mic stand). The mic makes rumbling sounds when being handled by a person speaking into it. If you place the mic in a mic stand, this will eliminate this issue. I buy high end DJ equipment for my main DJ systems and use these as "throw away speakers" for small side set ups such as cocktail hours, wedding ceremonies or a satellite speaker that I may need in a different room or on a patio outside. Other than that, I do not recommend buying one of these if you are a serious DJ looking for a "main set up."

Rockville RLB40 I Highly recommend this item
I have bought 4 or 5 of these and I use them all. It seems to me that other buyers, who have given this item a thumbs down, may be misjudging what this item is supposed to be used for. This is a "Travel-Bag," not a storage case. I use these to store laser lights, Chauved LED Drapes, Wires, Hard Drives, Laser Lights, LED Lighting... Everything and anything. These bags have the best zippers I have ever seen. Other big expensive brand named bags are not as solid as the Rockville RLB40. I have been a DJ for a very, very long time. I highly recommend this product. Also, when you arrive at a gig carrying your equipment in these bags, you look professional.... Buy with confidence. I'm going to order a few more of these for my other DJs to use... I know my equipment is safe in these bags.... Keep in mind that these are not "Road Cases".... They are "Travel-Bags." I store my equipment in these bags after gigs, on a shelf. I label the bag's contents with a "White Out Pen"... DJ's should never transport their equipment in the box they bought their lighting in. It looks very unprofessional. Looking professional is very important in this business. Buy as many as you can afford. You will never regret it. The front zipper storage bin is an outstanding bonus. Great for wires, batteries, hard drives and tool sets. My review is too long so I will end it here... Buy these, they are worth every penny.

Very Bright with lots of Colors, including violet, pink, amber and white.
These lights are very bright. I bought quite a few of these. They have DMX capability. I link them via DMX wires and they are nice. Excellent item for DJ's on a budget. Transport them carefully to gigs because they are plastic. I recommend them to DJ's who need truss lighting or lighting inside speaker stand covers, who are on a budget. They have a lot of preset colors and a digital menu. You can easily scroll through the digital menu and find red, blue, green, violet, white, pink and even amber colors. They are a good value for the money.
