Sound is scratchy and repetitive
For what it is and for what it costs (I paid $20 for mine, including shipping) it's a bargain, but there are some issues I couldn't get past.
The sound is very scratchy and raspy, only high frequency comes out through the tiny speaker. A lot of the sounds that I needed to mask are in lower frequencies, and they are not masked.
The sound effects are on a very short, maybe 10-20 second loop, and it's obvious, annoying, and keeps me awake. I found both the rain effect and the stream effect had noticeable rhythms. The sounds were not random enough to be relaxing, and were so artificial that they actually woke me up from a sound sleep.

Batteries OK, Charger not so much
The batteries seem to do the job. Since they're 2800 mAh they take a little longer to charge.
The charger doesn't work that well. I tried to charge a couple of AAA batteries and even overnight they didn't charge. I had to go back to my old Energizer brand to get success.

Excellent stand.
Great combination of portability and light weight. I can't comment about the strength or resistance to breakage, as I'm pretty careful about leaving my clarinet in a vulnerable location, but so far so good
