Love these...highly functional and comfortable
5 of 7 found this helpful Got these to protect my hearing on an extremely noisy ship building project. Found our standard 3M protective headphones to be inconvenient to keep on throughout the day, fairly good protection but heavy and overly insulating to conversation with fellow workers.
The Bose have transformed my ear protection habits. I wear them 80-100% of the time I'm working. They are extremely comfortable and the noise canceling is fantastic. I can use them with canceling switched off or on depending on the noise intensity. With noise canceling on, there is a dramatic drop in audio impact and yet I can still hear people speaking to me which is an additional safety plus.
At home, I use them to meditate, eliminating all the noise static of refrigerator etc. LOVE the supreme quiet!
They're also a boon for taking my computer based work out to coffee shops, blocking out noise whether or not I'm listening to my own music.
As far as sound quality for music or video play, I find them adequate for my taste. They may not pass audiophile tests, but I find them comparable to my $100+ Sony and Sennheiser phones. They're great, although if I've got a video going, I need to remind my wife to make eye contact to get my attention, cause I can't hear her or anything above the soundtrack.
Super happy with my purchase and well worth the dollars to protect my precious hearing.

Great sound and battery life
OK, this is not Bose sound quality, BUT, it IS waterproof. bluetooth and holds a charge that will play ALL DAY LONG! I got this for working and sailing on my boat as well as kayaking on the bay. The sound is great for what it is. Can connect and amplify my Amazon Music, iTunes or Pandora from my phone in a snap. Super easy bluetooth connection keeps the waterproof cover on the connecter panel closed. Went for an all day sail with music in the cockpit from dawn past sunset and still had power when we shut down and docked and 9 in the evening! This is not to replace your home stereo, but it will keep you in tunes where you dare not bring any other water susceptible device! Excellent and solid build quality! Have not submerged it in water, but I wouldn't sweat it if it happened. Definite recommend.

1 of 1 found this helpful What a difference with this screen! Just came back from a top down drive on sunny 50 degree morning without the cold wind swirling around the cabin. Can't imagine driving again without it. At night or in rain with the top up, just flip the screen down without having to operate a catch! Saw lots of reviews saying this screen falls down at speed. Never once had that problem with the top down, even at 95 on the freeway. Backpressure on screen holds it up—unless you roll down a window at which point it will collapse. This is an ingenious device that transforms top down driving. My wife LOVES the reduced impact on her hair...which makes for a happier cruise! Chose the OEM version because it folds down to an easily stowable size in the trunk. Nice storage and carry case as well to protect the screen from damage. Highly recommend!
