Great product - would buy again
1 of 1 found this helpful Got these at a great price on eBay,much better than from the Bose store which holds firm on the 249 price.
Bought these for a few reasons. First was to mow the lawn with as I've not been satisfied with any other noise headphones I own. It's winter here in New England so will update my review later in the summer.
The most pleasant surprise was using them while snowmobiling. Once set up almost all wind and loud engine noise goes away. Finally I can arrive at my destination fresh without ears ringing and asking people to repeat themselves when talking. Bonus there..... The earphones are small and fit in my jacket pocket easily. In our group we were able to link those headphones in to our communication system so rider to rider chat was crystal clear. Double bonus.....
The third reason was for air travel as that constant jet whine made for stress while traveling. Haven't tried that yet but pretty sure it would work. Update on that next flight our family takes.
The wires seem durable and the Silicone ear buds are soft on the ears which we all know are very sensitive to any pressure applied. When snowmobiling I've gotten 8 plus hours of comfort out of them. Triple bonus......
The main control is a tacky rubber and collects all sorts of lint and dirt but cleans easily so be aware of that. Bose was thinking that the unit if tacky would not fall out of a pocket there so that's why the tacky feature . It's really amazing to hear the quiet these headphones give you once switched on. I like it to be underground in a cave . All you can hear is the deafening sound of silence!
These headphones will replace the older QC 35 over the ear units we own now which are awesome as well.
I've tried them while using my farm tractor ,leaf blower and Atc. All but the leaf blower were quieted very much. Not sure why it doesn't like the leaf blower.
All in all a quality Bose product that works

Best handling upgrade
Got this spoon and runner combo for my 2104 Cat Turbo.handked so so before this upgrade. After install handled like it was on rails with almost zero darting.love the Skis and Runners by SLP!
