Clear. Tight.
Air-tite are good quality. They're packed as not to get scratched, fit the coin well and snap tight.

It's actually an improvement.
No fun to buy a new pot, nice to have coffee though. The carafe is not an exact replacement for the KMC222 (glass lip and rim, not plastic, and more cylindrical than the tapered original), but it works perfect. In fact, it rinses out better as water doesn't get trapped in the plastic rim like before. It's actually an improvement.

Great reel for the money.
The Pro Max low-pro is a good value... a perfect match for my classic Ugly Stik I've been wanting to upgrade. Although I prefer Shimano reels for my nicer rods, I think Abu Garcia makes a better reel in this price range.
