You can't remote skin a cat 12 ways.
This product and cheaper ones like it are being dispersed by design/mfrs for far more expensive bluetooth or wifi enabled links. I haven't thought of buying those for what is in my application, a few led undercab light bars. These respond, via the plug in modules, to one remote, so I have about 8 different 6 footer lights coming on for me when I walk in the room-rather than $600 for a electrician's motion switch.
The ony thing that bothers me is these are generic, multi-name identical...Lowes used to sell them from Defiant, or Lights Of PRestige. Some of those names discontinued these a few yezrs back so they act like they don't exist or cant be expected to be trained to know there's a switch on one and a power plug on the other...even if they do know, they won't tell you the otherr "competitioni" names, probably all from the same Chinese factory? For a motion detector and 120v link, they've worked 4 plus years for me..sometimes they weird out and I unplug batteries, but I just bought another b/c of the supply/discontinuation issues. Only a dumb Trump would do anything stupider, like spray paint them gold...but they're far better than stuff from Harbor Freight, etc.

If you saw flies, would you have sawflies?
I have bought this about 3 times,, over several years. An expanding foam version I used to get is off the market--probably no more effective. In my home, which has a sump basement pump from one toilet shower and two sinks, I have poured and taped over the drains...but it's not as if it keeps flies frrom breeding-you need a darn plumber and pesticide control service for that. What this does is...well, it provides hope..but since the net into on this is either hokey or negative, I don't think it is a nice single answer orange solution here. I just don't know if its part of the solution AT ALL.

An old Powerbook walking on its last legs
Anything short of a SSD or new computer for a 2002 computer w. 512GB has got to be steering in the right place, even if it's a cheap fix...I still get the spinning wheel of death, still can't get Flash..but this chip shows I should have upped the memory years back!
