JLT CAI w/12" Filter Purchase
Hello, just wanted to say i really like the new JLT tube you sent me. My mechanic and I installed it, after we changed out my plugs and wires(1996 Mustang/2001 Cobra Motor w/the terminator upgrade and the VMP 2.3L TVS upgrade). I used the smaller(less wide collar) and that worked fine. It is a HUGE filter which just barely fit in the fender well. Got to give JLT some credit for angling the filter. JLT must have written the instructions before including the fender plate as they tell you to tape the fender opening first to avoid scratches. Just install the plate first and you have a nice insulated and fitting opening. I went from 11.2-11.5 on the wide band at WOT to a much leaner 12.8-13.2! I had a 10" filter before. So, yes, it is necessary to get a computer re-tune! I have had other CAI and can tell you this is the best performing and good looking CAI.

Walbro 440 fuel pump
Good pump. I had to rewire the plug end to mate with previous Walbro connection. Didn't care for the cheap plastic hose which came with the install kit. The better thick rubber hose was shown in the pic, but did not get that. Mechanic would not warranty his labor if the cheap plastic hose was used. But it is a good pump and good service!
