Fell short of expectations
I wanted to really like this, I have quite a few Spec-ops brand organizers and they are all very superior to this product. In terms of materials and craftsmanship there is no comparison. This product is ok though and would be an acceptable alternative if it wasn’t as expensive as it is, for a few more dollars the spec ops organizers are made in USA of far superior materials and have hi visibility yellow interiors to make finding your items easier. If I’d never owned a spec ops organizer I imagine I’d like this a lot more

Perfect cooler for me!!!!
In my opinion this cooler is the best bang for your buck. I use it for a lunch box on construction sites, and on my kayak or any time I need a portable cooler. It’s nice and light, well constructed, and with 2 ice packs + ice I’ve kept my items ice cold for 3+ days. I have a yeti roady that was a gift and it’s nice and keeps ice a little longer but it very heavy loaded and much larger and doesn’t fit my Kayak. It also leaks when tipped over which the Engel does not. The carry strap and handle are very easy to use. This cooler is best used for day trips or weekends and has no problem keeping everything ice cold, if you need 4+ days ice retention Engels rotomolded line does that for a fraction of the cost of the more expensive brands.
