I bought this as a requested present for my wife. This was a great durable detailed design.
1 of 1 found this helpful The item was more than what I expected. New in the orignal package yet a better built set than what is available in the stores today. Bachmann builts a quality model railroad even today yet this set being an older design contained metal rather than the plactic parts used today. My satisfaction would be a 10 out 10.

Perfect fit of all components while easily installed
With electronics there is no almost right. This kit was exactly what was required to refurbish this Lionel product. Another generation of modelers will enjoy this transformer.
