Great adjunct to a base-level sound system
1 of 1 found this helpful Product arrived intact via UPS and in good time. I immediately swapped out the stock tubes for the recommended GE tubes. It took a full 3 hours of "burning in" for the optimal mellifluous sound to emerge. At first there was a lot of "reverb" across the frequency range, but this gradually dissipated. The 'tubey' sound is fantastic, as others have described. I particularly liked the option to adjust base, mids and treble, which is not available on the P1. I have the P2 connected by the RCA cables between the iFi Zen Dac V2 and an iFi Zen Can, listening via an HD6XX. I can appreciate no hiss or other noise in doing so. The remote works as described without fault. Overall, very happy with the purchase.
