I read "made in Germany" and I think of all of the great stuff that country produces.. my wife, my VW, my Audi, my chocolates and kindereggs. I had my hopes up for this.
For the money, brand new out of the box, I am not impressed that the pouring lid is NOT pressure tight, and will leak when tipped over. I am dissappointed in the less-than-airtight lid design. I wonder if that is a defective lid or a design flaw. I would love a replacement lid
I am impressed with how nice it looks and its overall construction.
I am impressed at how well it keeps hot coffee hot for the better part of the day. I preheat it with boiling water, and my french press coffee goes in piping hot. It was still hot about 12 hours later (of course, not piping hot). This despite the lid leaking heat.
I've not tried cold liquids yet.

Excellent value.
This RAM worked in the Dell G5 - whereas two sets of Ballistix from Crucial did not. I don't know whether it is the Dell or the Crucial but this worked straight up.
