lamps are hard to buy site unseen and on line.
It was a good value because we received a discount. This pendant lighting agreed with another ceiling lamp that was located very near by (maybe 10-12 feet away).
Assembly was needed, but I was fine with that.
The quality of the pendant was very good. The glass was not a thin cheapy kind.
The chain was generous - it seem like 6+ feet, may be 8 feet.
And the small metal parts were nicely detailed and not a ordinary design.
The picture display is very good, thou it is hard to show the space the pendant fills in the room.
My wife was very please with this lighting.

my natural gas fireplace
The unit is very good quality. The burner unit is made of a strong metal construction and the controls are well placed on the side. I am believing that the valve is also a solid piece of equipment too. The pilot light is a little noisy when the main burner is off. The logs seem to be fire proof, light weight with a built in glowing feature (not very strong - just a little). If this glowing feature was larger, that would create a greater look/impression. The logs seem to be large and thus hiding some of the flames and glowing parts of the logs. The flames are nicely situated for an almost natural fire look.
