Worked fine but be wary
I would have preferred it to be the LP-E6N battery. The R series cameras get a performance bump with the N style battery. Most people are not aware of this. The N should be removed from the listing.
Otherwise the LP-E6 battery works fine

Don't sleep on this value!
1 of 1 found this helpful This is my first L series lens. It has already produced some of the sharpest images I have ever created. It is not a quiet lens because it is considered antique by todays standards. If you are using for street photography or landscape photography it is the absolute best value. This lens is used on both my Canon M50 and my Canon EOS R and produces amazing images on both. I don't recommend it for video work though just stills.
