Did not work to seat the keepers
It appears to be good quality. It does not come with instructions. I looked them up on Youtube and it seemed very simple. However, it is not as easy as it looks. The disassemble took works fine, but we had no issues removing the keepers. I could not hold the spring down while putting in the keepers so I bought this. I spend an hour trying to "Press" them into place, but was unsuccessful. One keeper would seat fine, but the second one would not. After an hour of messing with this tool, I put it where it belongs...in the trash. I am going to another type of compressor tool. This one did NOT do what it should.

Great sun protection, very light weight
3 of 3 found this helpful First, this is a polycarbonate lens. They WILL scratch. I have a pair of Ray-Bans with G-15 glass. The Ray-Bans are fantastic at resisting scratches. I've have mistreated this pair of glasses for over ten years and the lenses are still perfect. However, the Maui Jim's are a fraction of the weight. I forget they are on my face. Also, the clarity of the Maui Jims is incredible. The polarized lenses are the best in the business. You have to be careful to place them inside of a protective case EVERYTIME they are not being worn. Placing these glasses on your dash and driving down the road will create small scratches on the lenses. If you are meticulous at caring for your glasses, go for it. If you are the type that get out of your car and throw your glasses on the dash, then you might benefit with real glass.
