More Than Just a Model in the White Box

I eagerly unpacked the kit from the box. Other than a small tear in the cellophane, the kit arrived in great shape. I felt like a 12-year old just returned from Hills Department Store with another new, white box Monogram warbird. The Hellcat was one of the few single-engined Monogram white box kits that I did not build as a kid. It was great to find one NIB after all of these years! After a nearly 40-year hiatus from building WWII warbirds I look forward to building this kit. I hope my effort, when finished, equals the fond memories I retain of those old Monogram white box kits.

Testors Republic P-47D Thunderbolt

Kit arrived as advertised: Brand new. Other than the factory shrink wrap missing, it was as if I just brought the kit home from my local hobby shop. Testors made nice kits back in the day and this one is no exception. Package arrived in great condition and the kit itself is completely intact. Even the instructions and decals - safely tucked inside - are in pristine condition. Well done and thank you, Godzillanator.
