Blaupunkt GTHS131 8" Super Slim Amplified Powered Subwoofer +Under Seat +Remote

Great sound and doesn't take up much space at all!

I had a amplifier that powered my subwoofer go out in my ski boat, after looking around for amplifiers I can across this and since I could get this for about what just a amplifier cost and then have speaker, speaker box and amplifier all in one I thought I would give it a try. You can see in the pic where I have it mounted under the helm on my boat where the drivers legs go under, the remote bass level controller is mounted right in front of that. Pros 1. Quality: Physical device - The unit is very solid and has the speaker well protected. All the control knobs and connectors are good quality, did not have to worry about where I might put it so that it would be protected. Good mounting hardware that gives you a lot of options concerning how or where it is mounted. Sound - I was impressed with the amount of bass this produced without distorting or just not sounding good. You are not going to get the same bass level as some big 12 inch full sized sub with a large amplifier connected to it but it gave me all the bass I needed (actually more than I needed a lot of times). It doesn't take much to maximize the level on this Amp/Sub by just making a few adjustments on it. Then when you add in the bass level remote that allows you to individually turn the bass up or down it is hard to get much easier than that. 2. Space: The fact that you are only having to deal with one device instead of two and that it is so compact lets you consider all types of locations that you might mount it. 3. Installation: Very good instructions and very user friendly, when you go back to the space needed it just makes the installation that much easier Cons 1. Quality: The only thing that was not very solid was the bass level remote, all plastic body and mounting flanges. So when you consider that you are probably going to be mounting this out in the open, there is a good chance that you are going to bump into it, drop something on it or hit it somehow. I even cracked the mounting flange when tightening the screw down too much. I do not feel confident that it will last a long time. 2. Options: It would be nice to have a passive audio out on this unit to be able to connect to other devices in certain situations. Overall this is a very good unit and I would buy again and definitely recommend to others to buy it!

Good all around DVR that works with analog and IP cameras.

Very good unit that has a lot of features that most DVR's do not have. Menu is user friendly which is a plus when setting it up. Being able to add IP based cameras is easy and works very well with most brands.
