Great Photographs
Great Photographs. Not much information and what there is can be found at most any site on L A on the Internet.
The evolving (before and after) photos are great. For instance: great to see a photo of the AltoNido Apartment Building where scenes from 1950's Sunset Blvd. were shot and then to see the building as it looks in this first few years of this century. Well kept and a true treasure. Or the flip side to that; The famed Garden of Allah as it was in it's heyday and now...a parking lot attached to a strip mall!

One of the better Hollywood Bios
1 of 1 found this helpful A fine book. Well written and in depth about one of silent film's greatest but ultimately, most tragic stars.
Great reading not only for film buffs but exceptional reading for the Gay audience who will see how far acceptance has come since Mr. Novarro's time but also how unaccepted homosexuality is today within certain social and religious groups...

Stunning Mirren and Bancroft
1 of 1 found this helpful A superb rendering of one of Tennessee Williams' lesser known works. Dame Helen is simply stunning in the title role and the late, magnificent Miss Anne Bancroft once again showed why she is considered one of our greatest actresses. Viewers won't be disappointed.
