I have worked with dozens of Dell Optiplex computers. Usually the only thing that dies is the power supply. These are rock solid machines, but running 24/7 even in sleep mode overnight takes its toll. The replacement of the power supply is an easy swap, takes less than 10 minutes.

Works ok
This is modified aftermarket powerpack. It is larger than the original, but it is working and I could not find a replacement from Uniden. It is hard to find because it uses an unusual voltage for a phone charger. I don't care about the size of the powerpack so this works for me.
I have an old pair of Nike golf shoes that I use in the wet. I like them because they are waterproof, and work well when it's soggy. After a few years of wear the soft spikes were almost flat, one fell off, and my feet were slipping on wet grass. I didn't want to spend a lot on new spikes so I tried these. Nike uses a strange connector as you can see, it's a triangle that twists off and on into a triangular opening slot. After years of wear, the slots get a little dirt in them making it hard to remove the old spikes and install new. To remove the old I had to use pliers and just pull them out. To install the new, I had to snap them in and try to turn them a bit to lock them in place. It took a while, but I have them all in, and I think they are locked in place. If you are thrifty like me (read that cheap) it's a good way to get a few more years out of your back-up pair of golf shoes. My dry weather golf shoes are a pair of Ecco, and they have a more traditional soft spike connector. Good luck, hope you have an easier time than I did.
