The seller's communication was on point as there was a slight delay in shipping due to a printer malfunction. I was notified immediately and it only arrived one day later than original date. Genie Garage Door Opener Control Board Part # 39537R.S

easy repair but costly

The replacement is easy with access via two screws. Issue I had was the closure would stop working, would start then stop/reverse immediately. Issue did not effect door opening. I could reset the board or the stop presets, but issue would return. Hopefully the new board fixes the fault and it does not return. Board cost is over half the original opener cost, so could have replaced with a different brand and model and have a complete new system.

Better than stock?

I did not realize the gator pattern was cut into the V grooves. Would seem to be worse with reduced contact area and wear faster. Gaps could resist slip and noise. Time will tell if it will last like the orginal 98 Toyota belt.
