Hell of a fun game with great graphics, and loads of action !
First, let me say that this is one of my favorite games EVER. I liked the main character a lot, and enjoyed the limited time I had fighting alongside my buddies, Castor and Pollux. There are other cool allies to fight with also, and I wish I could have seen more of them. I haven't finished the game yet, but wanted to say that it is already more than worth what I spent on it. The monsters and enemies you get to fight are interesting and often presented in unusual ways. I liked the weapons a lot, but would have liked to also be able to choose my armor or other gear. Sometimes the hordes of enemies onscreen at once get a little ridiculous, and make it really hard to focus or see anything; especially your poor beleaguered allies. I would have liked to be able to explore the environments a little more before being forced to go to the next scene. I hate it when a gate closes behind you, and you can't go back after killing the local enemies. There also seem to be some points where if you stand in a certain spot, the enemies just come out indefinitely, which kind of mars any sense of realism. I mean, how many Romans or proto-Vikings can one tower hold ? Really ? Reminds me of GTA San Andreas with the damn helicopters. I've shot down more choppers than even exist in the whole State of California in 15 minutes. Really ? So it can be with the damn Romans. Endless. Just run away from those spots and do something else. You don't get any benefit, as far as I can tell, from killing more hordes of enemies.
Another thing I'd really like to see is some kind of unlockable where you could play Castor or Pollux or one of the other NPC's, with a different assortment of weapons and armor...( Listen UP, you game designers out there ! )
All THAT said, I am really enjoying the game, and recommend it highly, as I'm getting many hours of enjoyable play out of it already. Two thumbs up. Sore thumbs, that is...

Excellent book!
Probably the best English language guide to understanding and practice of Japanese Meditative Archery.
