A Great BluRay collection,but..."
1 of 1 found this helpful In general, i like the "BATMAN" BluRay disc collection, but i complained heavily because i expected my merchandise in a week- it took almost the whole month before i finally receieved it! as for the collection in question, visually it was impressive. but i soon became heavily disappointed because despite all their work done to this new to DVD/BluRay, neither Warner Bros. or Twentieth Century Fox did anything great here, beyond what they provided. missing, was "BATMAN" s history with the ABC Television Network in 1966, and the rare network promos and episodic commercials that made a BIG difference with this set! overall, i enjoy watching this BluRay set of the 1966 BATMAN series despite my disappointments and complaints!

"THINKING YOUNG, BUT BADLY OUTMATCHED!
"FOR THOSE WHO THINK YOUNG" (1964) was among many of the 1960s "Beach" movies, made mostly popular by American International Pictures "BEACH" movies with Frankie Avalon and Annette Funicello, this 1964 Beach movie, directed by Leslie H. Martinson ("BATMAN", 1966), and starring James Darren ("THE TIME TUNNEL"), Pamala Tiffin, Paul Lynde, and a very young Ellen Burstyn ("THE EXORCIST"), along with "GILLIGAN'S ISLAND" stars, Bob Denver and Tina Louise, and Nancy Sinatra, made up for the main characters in this Beach comedy, released thru United Artists. despite the cast in "FOR THOSE WHO THINK YOUNG", the movie was out-matched by American International's "BEACH PARTY" movies-including 1965's "BEACH BLANKET BINGO", so about the only value to this 1964 comedy, is its cast of players, and the ironic timing of "GILLIGAN'S ISLAND", which United Artists Television and Gladasya Productions produced for The CBS-TV Network in Fall 1964, that Denver and Louise would work together on, along with Nancy Sinatra's star appeal. overall, a great movie, but no where near the AIP Beach movies that dominated the Drive-Ins of the 1960s!
