The Ugly Man
When my daughter was tiny and couldn't even talk, I found one of these for her. My ex decided it was a terrible looking thing and told me my daughter would absolutely hate it. It was love at first sight when I gave it to her and she carried it with her for quite a while. We didn't know its name so he was always "the ugly man". My daughter is now in college and the Ugly Man was long gone to wherever small stuffed toys go and she went to go see The Lion King while she was in London. When she got back from her trip, I met her at the airport with a new version of The Ugly Man and she loves him just as much now as she did then.
