Monument Soldering Mat
Prior to purchasing this mat I used pieces of tin and damp rags to protect walls etc from the blow torch heat but this was often unsatisfactory.
The eyelet in the soldering mat allows it to be suspended and unable to slip or fall and the overlapping flap gives good protection at the join.

Omron HN-289 Scale review

Curved driveway mirror.
I purchased this mirror and fitted it to a pole at the start of my driveway to solve a pedestrian blind spot problem due roads high boundary wall.
It has only been erected for about a week but so far it has maintained its shine and has not shifted due to wind and it gives me a clear view of any pedestrian traffic.
