Second Time Around
1 of 1 found this helpful The unit provides WIFI while utilizing cell signals which provides us with internet service that we do not otherwise have at our geographical location. It is or was not designed for 24 hrs. a day, every day service and has a couple of short comings. The unit will go to a shut down mode if the battery gets warm from being on the charger too long after charging which means you can't just plug it in and forget it for continued operation. You can hook up a higher rate charger and leave it plugged while removing the battery and it will continue to operate. Unless you have a battery backup device to route the charger through, you will lose connectivity with a loss of power. For normal portable and or traveling use the unit is great and provides great flexibility. You will need to be conscious of data usage since it will increase data usage and costs for the data. This unit was purchased to replace a same older unit that we had which failed and in our research did not find a better or equal unit to it. This unit has been discontinued by the manufacturer and remaining new ones and remanufactured ones are expensive.

Eiko 894 Clear Vision Supreme Halogen upgrade
I was looking for a replacement bulb with the same wattage but higher lumens and intensity. I did not want to change out the original headlight housings to accommodate a different style bulb. These bulbs were advertised as to be up to 50% brighter and appeared to be a simple swap out. I also started out looking for led bulbs but found that there is nothing currently available that would be better and finally decided on these bulbs. They were an exact fit and the light is seemingly a brighter bluish light to the eye, but overall they are only about 10% to 15% brighter and very little change in the overall depth/distance. They do come closer to matching my other led light applications and are acceptable but a little stout in price for the difference.
