Learn Cisco on the cheap

I purchased it for testing and educational purposes - especially to become familiar with connecting to and using the console and the command set. Of course, it also works as a switch, but I needed the experience on a Cisco. Very pleased.

WizCom quicklink-pen elite scanner

Windows 10 not supported

This product was very promising, but the support for the USB interface was dropped sometime before Windows 10 came out. WizCom support could care less when I called to purchase an USB interface that would work with Windows 10. So I have a "brick" that scans and stores the file internally, but will not communicate with the outside world. I also tried connecting an up to date, non WizCom USB to serial adapter without success. Its a shame - it would have been a great device if it worked on Windows 10. Instead, I purchased an IRISPen 7 Executive and it does the job well enough (if you guide it with a ruler on a page). Maybe next time an wireless IRISPen Air 7, but don't get excited - any pen scanner really needs to be guided with precision on the page to get excellent results.

Better than OEM

Same size except 4 ply and better load rating than the originals that came on the lawn tractor for less than replacement originals. So far it looks like an excellent choice. Would definitely buy again.
