X5670 - 6 core upgrade for very little money
1 of 1 found this helpful These end of life cpu's removed from business servers represent a nice performance upgrade for any home users and gamers running the old LGA 1366 cpu's - i7 920, 930, 950 etc. They overclock well and give you a bump up to 6 fast cores on the cheap. GPU throttling is much improved over the i7 9xx 4 cores but won't match much newer processors for performance. As a "drop-in" cheap upgrade, you can't beat it.
