Cheap but not quite cheerful
The fact that the instructions to build this were already ripped up on artival, turned out to be a blessing in disguise, since they were useless anyway. Build quality is poor and flimsy, but was easy enough to assemble with a bit of common sense. Once together you get a bit more confidence in its ability to take any weight, but I would consider it for the very occasional user, rather than anyone expecting to use it regularly without it falling apart

Very bright and rugged
This is a good value item, rugged and sturdy and seems well built. I use it for working on cars and it lights up dark spaces very well. With all three lamps on, it is very bright. It can get a little uncomfortable after a few hours, but with the batteries at the back, it's well balanced so doesn't pop off your head like some cheap ones do. I tend to get a good 3 hours of continuous use with all 3 lamps on before it starts to dim. But it recharges fairly quickly, and there's plenty of 18650 batteries on the market so easy enough to cary a spare pair.
The tilt mechanism is solid and reliable, no flopping about or snapping like my previous cheap one.
Great item to have in the garage or to keep in your car in case of emergency.

Great little set of adapters to have kicking around the practice room. Work flawlessly and are good quality
