Really great horn; no cons.
Jupiter 1100 trumpet (new). Intermediate horn, excellent condition. Beautifully done, no manufacturing errors evident. Silver finish immaculate. Intonation based on tuner response is excellent except for G below the staff which is a little flat. Valves and slides work flawlessly. Good sound and tone; responds well to various morthpieces. Fairly easy upper register; relatively light weight. Top of the line case. I look forward to playing this horn.

Parduba trumpet mouthpiece 5
Parduba double cup trumpet mouthpieces have been around for 60+ years which should attest to their quality. Their sizing is very consistent, ie, cup shape, depth, width, rim, and throat of all Parduba mouthpieces (of the same size) will be virtually identical -- this is not necessarily true of all brands. Based on my previously owned Parduba mouthpieces, the silver finish wears well, although this one had the finish removed. I find that Parduba double cup mouthpieces work well for me -- improved endurance, improved range and a good sound in all registers. (However, due to personal differences in embouchure, dental structure, lip size and shape, etc. no one brand or size of mouthpiece will work for all trumpet players). I bought this mouthpiece as a back-up in the event of loss or damage to a previously purchased Parduba mouthpiece of the same size.
