Philips Sonicare HX6810/50 ProtectiveClean 4100 Rechargeable Electric Toothbrush

Sonicare has sketchy history quality-wise but 4100 is another strong performer. Jury out on life-span
I just received this Sonicare toothbrush so I can't attest to its long term reliability. However, I've been using Sonicares for over 20 years. All three of us in the family use so I've bought a lot. I'll say this. The competition doesn't hold a candle to their design. However, their quality control has been lacking many times. I've made lots of warranty claims but Sonicare has sometimes not provided a new replacement but rather a used one in a plain brown box. For the hundreds of dollars it costs to buy toothbrushes, you'd think they wouldn't cheap out but they sometimes do. When they work, they're great. When they stop, they don't like standing behind their products.
Our last model, the step below this one, lasted 4 yrs. Not bad. I'm impressed with the performance increase of the 4100. Definite improvement! I have high hopes it will last... and if not, Sonicare will stand behind it.
Overall, very pleased with the product.
PS I didn't think I’d like the black OR the pink but both are better in person than the pics show! The black one even comes with a matching black charger, the only one to do so. I likey.
