Great oldschool solo play gamebook

Very happy to find this book in this good of condition! I inadvertently purchased one of the newer Scholastic editions and while the text remain intact all of the interior illustrations have been 'updated', and IMHO much more tamed down. Lots of the skulls, blood, etc. that made these edgy when they were originally released have been either removed or toned down drastically in the Scholastic editions. The artwork is slicker in the Scholastic editioins, but I'm still a big fan of pen and ink originals.
