Versatile Chime/Siren for SmartThings
1 of 1 found this helpful These sirens/chimes do work well with SmartThings. I like them so much I bought 2 of them. The first thing you need to know is Wink has been rebranded and is now Dome. A new Device Handler is needed to get full functionally. The Dome website has detailed instructions. (Ebay doesn’t allow links in reviews. Search the Domeha dot com website for “siren SmartThings”)
If you try to add the Wink siren/chime without installing the Device handler, it will install as a generic switch. This will work, but there is no choice of chime or siren tone, and no volume control option.
The only bad thing is the factory batteries were nearly dead in both devices I purchased. Expect to replace the batteries before installing.
