Yamaha audio components summed up in one word: Quality
Nothing new. Yamaha Amps are known and revered for their build quality and their performance. In addition, Yamaha's vintage amps from this period (primarily the 80's) are also aesthetically pleasing with their intoxicating large red digital power meters. Yamaha audio components and musical instruments are widely respected throughout the audio and music industry. They may not be the first choice for everyone. But, one would be hard pressed to find many people who dislike or have little regard for the Yamaha brand. This particular unit was in near mint condition and packed very well. Overall, I am very satisfied. What's not to like?
