Right Walkie Talkie, Wrong Battery

I had a major problem when I received it: the walkie talkie had a lithium battery but the charger is for nickel/cadmium battery. So... the walkie talkie is useless unless I buy at extra cost a different battery! The nickel/cadmium I had to buy, from Batteries Plus, cost me $37 Something must be done to be certain, when a walkie talkie w/charger is sent that the type of battery matches the charger. This error should have been avoided! Not happy.
