High quality, lightweight, useful accessory.
This UV filter is well made, and is supplied with front and rear caps, the former can be used as a screw-in lens cap. The filter, itself, appears to be of high quality and its multi-coating cuts any reflections created between it and the front lens element to a minimum. A good product. If there is a downside it is that the glass is very thin and easily broken, so try not to drop it, on or off the lens.

Great quality at a great price.
The silver-chrome Canon 50mm f1.8 lens in Leica screw mount is beautifully engineered from solid metals. Its focusing movement and aperture control are smooth and free of play. My copy is very clean optically, not suffering from the haze that the later chrome-black model is prone to. The downside of the high manufacturing quality is its weight, I certainly know when I have to carry it about. I have not yet seen any results on film but if it is anything like the mark 2 version I have already it is the equal of or better than my screw-mount Summicron at the smaller apertures for sharpness while being pleasantly soft at the wider apertures making it useful for portraits. In short, a great lens for very reasonable money. If you need one, get one.

The perfect walkabout lens. Excellent value for money
This little lens is a gem. It is tiny, lightweight, couples perfectly to my camera's rangefinder, and is very sharp when stopped down a couple of stops. Its colour rendering is neutral, not overly contrasty, working beautifully with Kodak Ektar. I recommend it if you can live without the cachet and expense of Leitz glass. I used to use a 35mm Summicron on an M4 and got great results, but I would defy anyone to tell which photographs were taken with that lens or with the Canon. I found mine in almost new condition at a decent price and am very pleased with my purchase.
