Good Quality for the Price.
3 of 3 found this helpful I wasn't expecting a whole lot, due to the price of this banjo. I know how expensive they can be! When I opened the box, I was amazed at what I saw. Beautiful, and everything where it belongs. I know some have complained about not knowing how to set the bridge, while I had prior knowledge, it's been a long while since I had to set one; looking on YouTube refreshed my memory, and WAHLAH, bridge was set.
It's beautiful, Only issue I have, which I can easily remedy after my 9 year old granddaughter opens it for Christmas (she's been wanting to learn to play the banjo for the past 3 years), is that there is an extremely slight separation of wood, and flaking of varnish, at the top of the neck, under the nut area. For the price I paid, it's nothing I would send the banjo back for; will fix it myself.
Once I got it tuned, I was impressed at the sound quality as well, especially for the price.
I can't wait to see my granddaughter's expression when she opens it on Christmas day!
* I would have given it 5 stars, had it not been for the small issue on the neck; had to lower it to a 4 for that reason.
