Newer version not as good as the old one, but works!!
4 of 4 found this helpful I had a very old bottle of Avon Skin So Soft which I decided to use on my horse who has an allergic reaction to midges and causes him to itch like crazy. He had rubbed much of his mane and tail out from the intense itching. I noticed a tremendous difference when I started putting the SSS on the dock of his tail and on the area of the mane that he rubbed so much! I was thrilled to see some improvement and began to search for some more, knowing I would run out soon! This was the best price that I could find which included the shipping and received the product quickly. I feel that the "new" original formula has changed from that very old bottle that I had bought many, many years ago. It still seems to be helping, but I have to apply everyday, where I was applying it every other day with that old bottle. It also seems to not be as oily and more water soluble. It still has been the best thing that I have ever used for this specific allergy (I have tried EVERYTHING) and has given Otis much relief. His hair is growing back nicely, so I will definitely continue to purchase it!
