A Better Album Than I Expected--not just songs for kids!
Admittedly, I like John Denver's music. I prefer his work in the late '60s and all through the '70s--some of his music in the '80s is just hard for me to muscle through. I didn't have high hopes for All Aboard!, but since I have but two of his albums, I figured I should just collect them all.
I'm happy to say that All Aboard! has been a happy surprise. It's not all songs for kids, and several of them have that John Denver charm I've come to expect. I would say about 2/3 of the album make the purchase worthwhile.

It's pretty ok
As far as the Cure is concerned, people often compare the dark early albums to the happier later albums. By 2000, The Cure had created blended albums with both textures.
This album ends with a 10-minute expression of pain, betrayal, and misery. It's super fun.
The opening track is also a gem for those who love Disintegration and Pornography.
A few other tracks are sunnier, more akin to the tone (but not the style) of The Top or Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me.
My favorite track is probably "There Is No If..." because it feels the most like The Cure is breaking new ground on the album.
Which brings me to my overarching comment: The album doesn't really break new ground for The Cure. Maybe there are more guitars, maybe more layers, maybe different words. But it's business as usual for The Cure, which would be exciting if this wasn't "as usual." But it's what we've seen before from the Cure, which is a bit disappointing. It's good, it's just not fresh.
So the album is ok. Pretty ok.
I'm glad I bought it.

Boring title, GREAT album
I have only been listening to Yo La Tengo for the last year and this was the last of their albums for me to get (it won't BE my last!!). I'm not sure why I waited on this one until last--probably b/c it has the least interesting title. It certainly isn't the least interesting music! What a stellar album! This band knows how to create a solid sound. I know this review isn't particularly insightful, but if you like other work by YLT (particularly There's A Riot Going On), then you'll love Summer Sun.
