Brass nut no glue....is it true

Ok so I bought the brass nut no glue nut ... I like it, they say it’s an exact replacement.. Well it’s not true you do have to modify it to your guitar.. so expect to do that .. also a touch of glue won’t hurt I feel it’s needed however the nut itself sounds great so if you can do some work on your own then get it you’ll like it brass is unique thx for listening...
