One of the best giant monster slaying games to date. Definitely recommended.
2 of 2 found this helpful Excellent game with great replay value, simply due to the diversity of weapons, armors, and monsters. The mechanics leave little to be desired, the combat is smooth and fast, and the weapons & armor are all very high quality. The story itself is nothing remarkable, but the real fun is in the killing of huge beasts and building your arsenal from their parts.
It is definitely a good place to jump into the series, being unlike almost every other Monster Hunter game.
